Company

Expressions Dance Company is the next step for dancers who are ready to train seriously and compete. Members refine their technique, master challenging choreography, and represent the studio at performances and competitions throughout the year.

Ages 6+

Ensemble

A non-competitive team for dancers who want to perform without the demands of competition. Ensemble dancers take ballet, jazz, and an optional elective classes plus one additional company class per week focused on choreography. Performance opportunities include local events and the annual recital.

Class Requirements: Dancers train in ballet and jazz, with the option to add elective styles, plus a mandatory one-hour weekly company block dedicated to choreography.

Stage Opportunities: Members will showcase their talents at community events throughout the year, as well as at the annual studio recital.

Ages 6+

Elevé

This junior-level competitive track is designed for driven dancers ages 6 and older who want to elevate their performance and technical skills.

Commitment & Classes: Members attend 2 to 3 weekly training sessions and rehearse one mandatory competition routine, with the choice to add a second optional routine.

Events & Travel: Dancers will showcase their choreography at local community events, enter 2 required competitive events, and participate in one educational dance convention.

Ages 6+

Elite

Built for advanced dancers ages 6 and older, this top-tier track requires a premier level of dedication and athletic commitment.

Commitment & Classes: Members train in 3 to 4 weekly classes and master 4 distinct competition routines, with exclusive opportunities to add custom solos, duos, or trios.

Events & Travel: The team represents the studio at 3 mandatory competitive events and participates in one intensive dance convention.

Ages 6+

Encore

Tailored for advanced dancers who want to balance high-level training with other extracurricular passions, this track offers adaptable scheduling and a reduced weekly time commitment.

Commitment & Classes: Members attend just 1 to 2 weekly classes and benefit from a more flexible attendance framework. Dancers can focus on solos, duets, or small group choreography.

Events & Expectations: Despite the lighter schedule, performers still pledge their dedication to headlining key competitions and studio events throughout the year.

To maintain a professional and focused atmosphere, we hold closed-door evaluations free from outside interruptions. All prospective company members are expected to meet the following standards:

- Wear a solid color leotard with tan tights.

- No shorts, leggings, t-shirts, or sweats.

- Hair should be in a neat bun or ponytail with minimal jewelry.

- Bring all dance shoes for each genre you plan to audition in.

Who we are looking for

Beyond physical skill, our faculty seeks well-rounded individuals who bring a mature attitude, positive energy, and an exceptional work ethic to the studio. Mutual respect toward instructors and fellow dancers is mandatory, as is a true, visible enthusiasm for the art of dance.
